About InfoComm 2018

When is the show?

AVIXA three day courses start on June 2. TIDE is on June 5. The Seminar and Workshop package starts on June 5, and the Exhibit Hall is open June 6-8.

Where is the show?

InfoComm 2018 will take place at the  Las Vegas Convention Center, 3150 Paradise Road, Las Vegas NV 89109 in the North and Central Halls.

When is the exhibit hall open?

Wed. June 6:       9 a.m. -5 p.m
Thurs. June 7:    9 a.m. -5 p.m.
Fri. June 8:       9 a.m.-4 p.m.

How much does it cost to attend?

That depends. Are you going just to the Exhibit Hall? Do you plan to take classes? Courses have different fees depending on length of course and type. See the full list of fees here, and remember, prices increase onsite, so register in advance.

Where do I pick up my badge?

Badges will be mailed to attendees who live in the U.S. and register before May 23. Attendees who register after May 23 will pick up their badge at the registration locations onsite. ALL attendees must get their badge scanned and pick up your badge holder at one of the registration sites listed here. Please wear your badge at all times while at the show. 

How old do you have to be to attend InfoComm?

You must be 16 in order to attend InfoComm. This is for safety reasons, both for our attendees, but also for our exhibitors’ booths and products.

What are the show rules?

Where can I find someone in charge at the show?

The InfoComm Show Management office is located in room N249 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

I’m with the press. How do I register?

Qualified members of the press and technology industry analysts are granted access to certain events. Our Director of Communications will verify that you qualify and inform you if you are declined press registration.

Can I check my bag at the convention center?

Coat and bag check are available all three days for the show in the LVCC concourse 3. It is $3.00/item per day. 

Is there Wi-Fi?

Free Wi-Fi is available in the LVCC common areas and Westgate meeting rooms. 

Is there a lost and found?

Yes! Lost and Found is located in the Show Management Office, room N249.

Getting Around / Staying in Las Vegas

What transportation options are available?

Complimentary shuttle buses to the hotels in our room block on a fairly regular basis Tuesday through Friday. See the shuttle bus schedule. Please note that there will be no return buses to the hotels or the Las Vegas Convention Center after the Opening Reception on Tuesday, June 5.

Airport Shuttle is available from the Las Vegas Convention Center to McCarran International Airport.The shuttles departs LVCC on the hour and half-hour Thursday and Friday of the show. Advance purchase is recommended and you can buy tickets at the Shuttle Information Desk. Tickets are $10.00 per person (Cash Only).

Thursday, June 15 11:00 a.m.—6:00 p.m.
Friday, June 16 11:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m.

 

Designated Uber and Lyft drop-off/pick-up areas are located at the Blue Lot outside of the Central Hall lobby.

Is there parking at the convention center?

There is parking at the convention center. The fee for parking at the Las Vegas Convention Center is $10.00 per space with in and out privileges. Anyone leaving the LVCC and planning to return the same day can show their paid parking receipt for re-entry. Overnight parking is prohibited on LVCC property.

Where should I stay?

InfoComm’s official hotel reservation provider, OnPeak, can help you find the hotel that meets your needs and budget. You can search for hotels here, or call OnPeak at 855.992.3353.

Where can I eat?

InfoComm has brought the outdoors inside with The Park featuring 'food-trucks' and a happy each day of the show. Outdoor food-trucks are also available in the Silver Lot. See the total list of food options here and hours of operation here.

Exhibit Hall / Show Floor

Where is the Exhibit Hall?

The InfoComm Exhibit Hall (a.k.a. Show Floor) is in two halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center: the North and Central Halls.

How do I find _____’s booth?

You can always see the exhibit hall map on our website or use the mobile app. At the show, in addition to the mobile app, we will have printed Exhibit Hall maps and digital wayfinding units around the convention center to help you navigate the show floor.

Can I take pictures or video in the exhibit hall?

Yes, if it's an #avselfie, or a picture being used for non-commercial use (like a photo of your team on the show floor). Otherwise,  as it states in the show rules: Due to the sensitive nature of new products and unique booth displays at the show, professional photography and/or video recording for commercial purposes of any booth by any attendee/exhibitor personnel is prohibited. Exceptions are made only when permission is obtained from the exhibitor whose booth/product is being photographed/videotaped and all individuals appearing in the photograph or video. 

Do you have to pay to enter the pavilions or presentation stages?

No—the pavilions, presentation stages, and Audio Demo rooms are all included in your registration.

Education and Training

I’m in a three-day course that isn’t right for me. Is there anything I can do?

You can switch into any other three-day course, as long as you do so by noon on Saturday. If you miss more than a half day of class, you won’t be eligible for RUs or a certificate of completion. Visit the Show Management office in room N249 if you’d like to make a change.

I’m in a seminar that isn’t right for me. What should I do?

Just go to a different seminar! As a Seminar Package holder, you can attend any seminar or workshop held Tuesday-Friday without pre-registering.  All seminars are first-come, first-served.

Can I test for my CTS while at the show?

Yes! Visit the Westgate to apply, register for the exam, celebrate passing the exam, or renew your CTS.

Am I required to take CTS Prep or another CTS class in order to take the CTS exam?

No! There are no prerequisites to the CTS exam, though InfoComm offers many optional preparation tools.

I’m interested in presenting for InfoComm 2019. Where do I get more information?

Our InfoComm 2019 Call for Presenters will open later this summer. Visit us at the Show Management office in room N249 if you’d like to be added to the VIP notification list.

AVIXA Membership

I’m an AVIXA member. Is there anything special for me at the show?

--- Yes! We have an AVIXA Member’s Only Lounge at the AVIXA booth, located in the Central Lobby. You will have access to meeting rooms, a coffee bar and comfortable seating where you can network and rest your feet.

Is there a mobile app for the show?

Yes, you can download the official InfoComm Shows app from iTunes or the Google Play store.

Where is the International Business Center?

All AVIXA members, regardless of which country you are visiting from, are invited to the AVIXA booth in the Central Lobby. There is not a separate business center or lounge for international attendees.

What if there is an emergency?

For a serious medical emergency at the LVCC facility (e.g. heart attack, stroke, or seizure) dial 911. Provide your location within the facility to the 911 dispatcher (i.e. Westgate, exhibit hall, meeting room).

Who produces the InfoComm show?

AVIXA, the trade association for the pro-AV industry, produces not only the InfoComm show in the U.S., but 12 shows around the world, as well as co-owns ISE (Integrated Systems Europe).
