When is the show?

InfoComm University’s three day courses start on June 10. TIDE is on June 13. The Seminar and Workshop package starts on June 13, and the Exhibit Hall is open June 14-16.

Where is the show?

InfoComm 2017 will take place at the Orange County Convention Center, 9800 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819 in the West Building.

When is the exhibit hall open?

Wed. June 14:       9 a.m. -5 p.m
Thurs. June 15:    9 a.m. -5 p.m.
Fri. June 16:       9 a.m.-4 p.m.

How much does it cost to attend?

That depends. Are you going just to the Exhibit Hall? Do you plan to take classes? Courses have different fees depending on length of course and type. See the full list of fees here, and remember, prices increase onsite, so register in advance.

Where do I pick up my badge?

Registration is located in West Hall, Level 1 B & Level 2 D Lobby. You will need to bring the barcode from your email confirmation. You will scan your barcode, your badge will print out, and you will be given a badge holder and lanyard. Please wear your badge at all times while at the show. Badges are not mailed.

How old do you have to be to attend InfoComm?

You must be 16 in order to attend InfoComm. This is for safety reasons, both for our attendees, but also for our exhibitors’ booths and products.

Where can I find someone in charge at the show?

The InfoComm Show Management office is located in room W309AB at the Orange County Convention Center.

I’m with the press. How do I register?

Register online here. Qualified members of the press and technology industry analysts are granted access to certain events. Our Director of Communications will verify that you qualify and inform you if you are declined press registration.

Can I check my bag at the convention center?

Coat and bag chack are available all three days for the show in the Level 1 A Lobby. It is $3.00/item per day. Free Wi-Fi is available in the OCCC Lobby, Meeting Room Areas adn Education Classrooms. There is not Wi-Fi in the Exhibit Hall.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Free Wi-Fi is available in the OCCC Lobby, Meeting Room Areas and Education Classrooms. There is not Wi-Fi in the Exhibit Hall. The Wireless SSID is InfocommFreeWiFi and no password will be required.

Is there a lost and found?

Yes! Lost and Found is loacted in the Show Management Office, room W309AB

Getting Around / Staying in Orlando

What transportation options are available?

InfoComm runs shuttle buses to the hotels in our room block on a fairly regular basis Tuesday through Friday. See the shuttle bus schedule. There will also be shuttle bus service on Tuesday for the Opening Reception. Shuttles depart from the Orange County Convention Center to Mango’s from 4:30 6:00 p.m. and return to the Hotels from Mango's starting at 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Airport Shuttle is available to Orlando International Airport from the Orange County Convention Center. The shuttles depart OCCC on the hour and half-hour Thursday and Friday of the show. Advance purchase is recommended and you can buy tickets at the Shuttle Information Desk. Tickets are $20.00 per person (Cash Only).

Taxis pick-up location is located outside of the C Lobby in the main drive way. Uber pick-up location is located in the outside lane, outside the AB lobby.

Is there parking at the convention center?

There is parking at the convention center. The fee for parking is $17.00 per car per entry and $30.00 for oversized vehicles, i.e. buses, per entry. After 5:00 p.m., discounted rates apply.

Where should I stay?

InfoComm’s official hotel reservation provider, OnPeak, can help you find the hotel that meets your needs and budget. You can search for hotels here, or call OnPeak at 855.992.3353.

Where can I eat?

NEW this year: InfoComm has brought the outdoors inside with The Park featuring 'food-trucks' and a happy each day of the show.

Show Your Badge Program

Visit Orlando’s “Show Your Badge” Program allows you to get discounts at dozens of local restaurants, plus shops, sightseeing tours and popular attractions. Just present your show badge at a participating vendor to take advantage of the great offers.

Exhibit Hall / Show Floor

Where is the Exhibit Hall?

The InfoComm Exhibit Hall (a.k.a. Show Floor) is in the West Building of the Orange County Convention Center.

How do I find _____’s booth?

You can always see the exhibit hall map on our website or use the mobile app. At the show, in addition to the mobile app, we will have printed Exhibit Hall maps and digital wayfinding units around the convention center to help you navigate the show floor.

Can I take pictures or video in the exhibit hall?

Yes, if it's an #avselfie, or a picture being used for non-commercial use (like a photo of your team on the show floor). Otherwise,  as it states in the show rules: Due to the sensitive nature of new products and unique booth displays at the show, professional photography and/or video recording for commercial purposes of any booth by any attendee/exhibitor personnel is prohibited. Exceptions are made only when permission is obtained from the exhibitor whose booth/product is being photographed/videotaped and all individuals appearing in the photograph or video. 

Do you have to pay to enter the pavilions or presentation stages?

No—the pavilions, presentation stages, and Audio Demo rooms are all included in your registration.

Education and Training

I bought a Seminar Package. What can I attend?

Seminar Package holders have access to over 100 1-2 hour seminars and 4 hour workshops. You can attend any InfoComm University Seminar or Workshop plus Manufacturers' Training sessions, Tuesday through Friday.

AV Tech Tours and special events are not included in the package.

I’m in a three-day course that isn’t right for me. Is there anything I can do?

You can switch into any other three-day course, as long as you do so by noon on Saturday. If you miss more than a half day of class, you won’t be eligible for RUs or a certificate of completion. Visit the Show Management office in W309AB if you’d like to make a change.

I’m in a seminar that isn’t right for me. What should I do?

Just go to a different seminar! As a Seminar Package holder, you can attend any InfoComm University seminar or workshop held Tuesday-Friday without pre-registering.  All seminars are first-come, first-served.

Can I test for my CTS while at the show?

Yes! Visit the Certification tables on Level 3 of the convention center to apply, register for the exam, celebrate passing the exam, or renew your CTS.

Am I required to take CTS Prep or another CTS class in order to take the CTS exam?

No! There are no prerequisites to the CTS exam, though InfoComm offers many optional preparation tools.

What do I do with my Manufacturers’ Training coupon?

Redeem it in the Show Store, located in the InfoComm booth. You can get a souvenir, our official show shirt, or even a book, like the newly released CTS-D Exam Guide.

I’m interested in presenting for InfoComm 2018. Where do I get more information?

Our InfoComm 2018 Call for Presenters will open later this summer. Visit us at the Show Management office in W309AB if you’d like to be added to the VIP notification list.

Membership in InfoComm International

I’m an InfoComm International® member. Is there anything special for me at the show?

Yes! We have an InfoComm International Member’s Only Lounge at the InfoComm booth, located in the Level 1 B Lobby of the West Building. You will have access to meeting rooms, a coffee bar and comfortable seating where you can network and rest your feet.

Interested in getting involved with a committee or council? Talk to a Red Shirt at the InfoComm booth and learn more about how volunteers are helping move our industry forward.

Where is the International Business Center?

All InfoComm members, regardless of which country you are visiting from, are invited to the InfoComm booth in the Level 1 B Lobby. There is not a separate business center or lounge for international attendees, unless you are with an official Department of Commerce International Buyer program delegation.

What if there is an emergency?

For a serious medical emergency at the OCCC facility (e.g. heart attack, stroke, or seizure) dial 911. Provide your location within the facility to the 911 dispatcher (i.e. West Building, North/South Building, exhibit hall, meeting room).

For non-life-threatening situations or first aid, dial 407.685.4004 to contact our contracted Event Security Provider.

Who produces the InfoComm show?
