Class Summary:

In this session, Tavia Morra of AV Stumpfl’s PIXERA will explore PIXERA’s newest TouchDesigner integration. Attendee’s will learn how to prepare one of TouchDesigner’s native file types (.tox) file before import into PIXERA, how to import a .tox file into PIXERA, and how to program with a .tox file within the PIXERA ecosystem.

After the session Attendee’s will understand the basics of the PIXERA UI, the basics of data exchange between TouchDesigner and PIXERA, and the fundamentals of compositing within PIXERA, and walk away with skillsets in the ever-evolving real-time content space

· Attendees of this workshop will learn the basics of the PIXERA UI

Prepare Tox File

· Attendees of this workshop will learn the basics for how to prepare a .tox file ahead of import within PIXERA. This includes review of:

o Custom Parameter definition

o How to get pixels out of a .tox

o How to get pixels into a .tox

o frame/second streaming from PIXERA Timeline into a .tox

Compositing Techniques & Control

· Attendees of this workshop will learn how to import a .tox file and how to composite with this real-time Resource type within the PIXERA ecosystem. This includes:

o Basic Compositing Techniques (working on the PIXERA Timeline)

o Screen Groups

o PIXERA Control
