This session will provide a detailed review of key characteristics to be considered for the selection of the most adequate networking hardware for a particular networked AV system/project going beyond the basic decision making process centered on brand and port count. This session will review key specifications including networking protocol support, application type, resiliency and reliability, ease of configuration, layer 3 feature set, POE capabilities and management, port capacity and speeds, overall bandwidth, etc.
