Negative COVID-19 Test Result OR Vaccination Required

On August 26, AVIXA announced that all who participate in the show in any capacity must provide one of the following:
  (i) proof of a negative COVID-19 test result OR
  (ii) proof of full vaccination

Negative COVID-19 test results are good for 5 days (120 hours). You will need to provide an updated negative test if your original test expires before the conclusion of your participation in the event. Only vaccines authorized and recommended by the Centers for Disease and Prevention for use in the United States can be used as proof of vaccination.

We are using the CLEAR Health Pass app for negative COVID-19 test verification or proof of vaccination. You can choose to use either the CLEAR Health Pass mobile app OR you will need to bring documentation with you - in English that has your name and either your negative COVID-19 test result or vaccination information.

Read more about this policy on the general health and safety page.

A limited number of rapid COVID-19 tests will be available onsite at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). Please check back for more information closer to the show dates.

COVID-19 Testing Locations Near the OCCC

Masks are required for all.

Masks are required to be worn by all individuals, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status. This includes attendees, exhibitors, vendors, AVIXA staff and other individuals at InfoComm.

Exhibit Hall and Your Booth

The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) HVAC systems will continue to remain running 24-hours a day in the front of house areas while maintaining between 40 and 60 percent humidity to decrease the bio burden of infectious particles in occupied spaces. The HVAC systems in the exhibit halls will run 24-hours a day while occupied and use of exhaust fans and introduction of outside air will be utilized during move-in and move-out.

The OCCC uses MERV 13 filters as recommended by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) to mitigate the transmission of infectious aerosols.

The OCCC does not have specific guidelines or requirements for exhibits or exhibitors during tradeshows and events at their facility.  We recommend exhibitors read the information provided on the general InfoComm Health & Safety page and plan accordingly, including practicing social distancing, wearing of proper mask, cleansing of areas in the booth and frequently washing or hand-sanitizing of hands.

Download this guide from Freeman on things you may want to consider for your booth.
