Business and Project Management
The session takes a deep dive into the inner workings of integration space and the age old debate of the project manager versus the engineer. Session highlights will include:
- Survey based research and analysis on typical processes / relationships between engineers and PMs at varying job settings (Integrator, Manufacturer)
- Project Management / Engineering relationships in other tech industries.
- Scenario based workshop on how situations could be better handled.
- Time management styles and consistent communication for project success
- Technical knowledge domains required for successful projects. Where does engineering end and project management begin? (It doesn't!)
- What's a stupid question? Creating an environment for free-flowing dialogue among team members.
- Building a non-combative and creative experience. Is there a "Lessons Learned" phase after Projects within your organization?
- Creating a scalable business process that works for both PM and Engineers.
- Career paths, education
