In this session attendees will learn about AV IP based Network design. Starting with an introduction to what an IP Network switch is, the course focuses on important concepts specific to designing and installing a functional AV IP Network. Attendees will understand concepts such as Switch Backplanes, LANs, VLANs, Full/Half Duplex communication, AV directional flow, PoE and PoE budgeting. Many real-world AV IP Network examples will be reviewed and discussed highlighting the reasons and advantages to certain designs in the real world. The course wraps up with high level checklist of things to watch out for and plan for with any AV IP Network design.
Learning Objectives
  • Learn how to design and implement an AV IP based Network.
  • Understand basics of Network switches when it comes to designing an AV IP Network. Switch Backplanes, LANs, VLANs, Full/Half Duplex communication, AV directional flow, PoE and PoE budgeting.
  • Understand that making an "AV IP Network design plan" ahead of time is critical to being able to implement an AV IP Network design on site.
