Whether you are a new worker trying to break into the live events industry, a seasoned technician with years of professional experience, or an instructor training the next generation of live event technicians, having a sturdy foundation in workplace safety and health can help further your career goals and protect you and your colleagues on the job. In this presentation, representatives from the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) will teach you how to “Build Your Worker Safety Toolkit” by reviewing three essential trainings that all live event professionals, regardless of craft, should complete: CPR/AED Certification, Mental Health First Aid, and OSHA Outreach training.
