Learning Spaces
The Ed Tech design landscape is changing faster than ever before! Many faculty, who were hesitant to use technology, have been required to use technology they were previously intimidated by. They are now confidently incorporating the use of technology in their curriculum and the classroom design now has to be more fluid with the ever growing and changing needs of our faculty.
We will be detailing on how the attitude towards technology has changed, and how that change has altered the classroom design to match the new pedagogical needs of our faculty. However, it does not stop there, the question that we deal with now is “what comes next?”. In this session we will outline what this new generation of student expectations are and how we can match the tech in the classroom to those expectations.
Education is now global and not restricted to the four walls in a room. Accelerated by the pandemic we are now in a position to redefine educational technology and how it is used. In this session not only will we touch on HyFlex but also how to build on experiential learning.
Learning Objectives
  • Rethinking the traditional classrooms to be more flexible, scalable and deliver multiple modalities.
  • Work with end users and technology providers to address the question "what comes next?".
  • Gather requirements to create learning spaces for experiential learning.
