Session Description : This session will explore typical situations for applying KVM and use those to introduce today’s and tomorrow’s KVM product world in easily digestible bites. Next to the main hardware categories of KVM Switches, Extenders and Matrixswitches the different protocols and their characteristics get explained. The attendees will furthermore get into contact to complementary products such as multi-viewers, input helpers and Remote Access Tools. The session will be held as a presentation supported by PowerPoint slides. At the end of the session our product specialists will be there for your questions in individual talks as well as in the plenary session. The presentation provides basic knowledge of all KVM disciplines and is a solid basis for the early afternoon’s advanced session. But even if you can´t go for the afternoon session the basic session will give you a memorisable idea of the solution scope of KVM which will help you in your customer consultations.
