Combining IT and AV

How can IT and AV work together allowing both to highlight their individual successes, while expanding the others? We’ll be looking at the harmony that IT and AV can create in our connected world.

This fast-paced course will take the participant on a guided tour of the market impact created by the explosion of AV over IT, The Cloud and of IoT solutions. We will highlight the growth of these solutions, an astonishing 10%+, and the need for collaboration among the departments, IT and AV. Understanding the universe of opportunities created by this blend of technology is critical to IT and AV business success in the coming years.

Our investigation of this essential technology will include an exploration of the questions of bandwidth and hardware requirements, security, controllability, and ultimately responsibility. We will dive deeply into the associated elements of shared networks, VLANs, management of the networks, and the impacts other new developments such as edge computing, SDVoE, Dante, AVB, SMPTE 2110, IPMX, WiFi6E and WiFi7, will have on IT and AV system design and integration over the coming decade. As we conclude, we will share ideas on how to move forward in this new world of technology.
