Project Managing Million Dollar Live Events on the Global Stage

PW04
Tuesday, June 11
W225
Events and Entertainment

Live events need serious project management as there is little room for error.  Whether it’s working with the client, unions, managing logistics, hiring freelancers, sourcing equipment, and putting on a live event with no “second takes” it’s all got to come together perfectly.

When event budgets are in the millions the focus on every little detail increases and the job skill needs to match.  This level of project management needs to be at the top of their game and we will work together in this collaborative and engaging talk to call out major milestones from expected deliverables and timing, site visits and production meetings, diagrams and 3D renderings, crew management and sourcing, trucking and logistics.  Once we have the outline and skill set called out we’ll introduce discussions around working on major televised sporting events or conferences with high-level global leaders on the international stage and the security and management that goes along with all of this.
