This session provided an in-depth comparison of the AV/IT resources at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly White Institutions (PWIs), exploring how these resources reflect and shape the support structures, resource availability, and cultural dynamics unique to each type of institution. Presenters will discuss challenges and strengths within both environments, emphasizing the potential for collaboration to build inclusive, flexible learning spaces that address diverse student needs. The session also highlighted actionable strategies for HBCUs and PWIs to work together, using AV/IT to enrich the student experience across campuses.
