Automated camera systems were once limited only to specialized, purpose-built spaces and required a rack full of equipment.  Today, leveraging improved and new technologies, automated cameras can be found in learning spaces of almost any size and within almost any budget.  This presentation will explore how the University of Wyoming is using automated cameras in dozens of learning spaces across campus to provide an equitable and inclusive teaching and learning experience for students both remote and in the room. We’ll also review the technologies behind camera automation, the methodologies by which cameras can be automated, how they integrate with your current systems, and the benefits they can bring to learning spaces.
