With a keen focus on user experience and how businesses can attract employees back to the office, retain staff and create productive collaborative environments, it is now essential that all areas of system design consider the all-important UX. So, what does this mean for AV system user interfaces? How do we start to navigate UI design in today’s modern workplace? How do we respond to requests for simplicity and intuition in UI design? And do we need to break the mould of UI design with a new approach for our new age?  

This session will explore how the user experience is driving system design, and specifically the user interface of AV systems. It will delve into how we can create a good user experience by adopting a clear process to UI design, consulting with key stakeholders, and understanding the aims, goals and ambitions of the business ahead of time. It will also explore how standardisation has a role to play, especially across large, global estates.
