CTS-D Prep
Note: This is a three-day course from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., June 13-15.
CTS-D Prep helps ease nerves and build confidence before taking the CTS®-D exam. Participants practice test-taking strategies and focus on key audiovisual design topics to guide their study efforts.
Who should attend: current CTS® holders with at least two years of AV design experience who assess client needs, prepare design documentation, and collaborate with project stakeholders to deliver effective AV solutions.
Prerequisites: strong knowledge of AV math is recommended, or completion of AV Math and AV Math for Design.
Course features: this three-day instructor-led class includes exam format overview, test-taking strategies, design terminology review, AV design math practice, and exploration of design processes for AV environments and infrastructure. Learners identify study gaps through exercises, drills, vocabulary, formulas, diagrams, and practice questions with facilitator support.
Completion of this course does not guarantee passing the CTS-D exam and does not include exam registration. Candidates must apply, pay, and schedule separately through Pearson VUE. Eligibility requires a current CTS credential and at least two years of AV design experience.
