From Prompt to Project: Applying AI to Higher Ed AV Design

Thu, June 18
Artificial Intelligence Design and Integration Learning Spaces

Join this interactive workshop where theory is put into practice on how AI can accelerate the design of AV systems in higher education. Specifically designed for campus AV and IT professionals, this session asks attendees to get hands-on building and refining their own AI prompts and tools for classroom and learning-space design. Guided through exercises, participants will learn how to properly structure prompts for AV design, AV math, and documentation generation that will result in personalized and reusable workflows they can take home to their institutions. Bring your laptop and follow along as we delve into prompt-engineering techniques, real-world university examples, and strategies for improving the consistency, speed, and quality of design and documentation across academic AV environments. For designers, integrators, and technologists who support teaching and learning spaces and want to build with AI, not just learn about it.
