Operations Management for Rental and Staging
This class is designed to get rental and staging managers to “think outside the box“ and beyond their day today operation. By looking at live entertainment as a whole, and then defining different market segments, and the requirements of each, attendees will be able to identify changes necessary for their organization to increase “the bottom line,” employee motivation, and customer satisfaction. I believe in using audience participation as much as possible when training adults.
I will begin by inviting the audience to help identify different markets. Next, we’ll define each market and list their requirements. Requirements include, but are not limited to proposal writing, equipment packages, procedures, and paperwork. Lastly, I will introduce data collection & analysis, statistics, and the theories of TQM, JIT, and reengineering. Using quantifiable data from real word production companies, the class will have an opportunity to turn data analysis into organizational changes design to increase profitability.
