If you receive an email invoice from The Pink Light, please do NOT pay it. This is a recent scam that has come to our attention. The Pink Light claims to provide lead retrieval for InfoComm. The ONLY lead retrieval provider for InfoComm is our registration vendor, Compusystems (which you can order through your Exhibitor Dashboard).
Unfortunately, as with many major tradeshows, InfoComm is the target of scam operations run by unscrupulous companies trying to trick exhibitors into buying unauthorized services. Please be aware of these most common scam offers:
ATTENDEE OR VISITOR LISTS
Please be aware that we do NOT sell our attendee contact list with email addresses to any outside vendor. Any correspondence you may receive with claims that you can purchase the InfoComm attendee list is a scam.
If you receive any communications that claim to offer the InfoComm attendee list, please forward it to our Senior Director of Marketing, Barbara Blaskowsky.
The ONLY official publication of InfoComm 2019 is the Show Daily published by Future, the publishers of SCN, AV Technology and many other industry leading publications. The Show Daily has distribution in InfoComm hotels, buses and at the Convention Center. If you advertise in any other publication that claims they have distribution either at our hotels or the Convention Center, this is FALSE.
The OFFICIAL housing provider/hotel reservation system is OnPeak. If you are contacted by other third-party companies* offering hotel assistance, please be aware they are not endorsed by InfoComm. Entering into financial agreements with these companies can have costly consequences and are not protected by event management.
We hate that we have to warn our exhibitors and partners of these scams and unethical business practices. Please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org if you receive any suspicious correspondence and we will look into it. We will update this page with any new scams that we are aware of.
