Hiring the right employees and building an effective team are vital to the survival of an AV organization. This workshop provides perspective, suggestions and guides to recruitment and methods that prevent attrition and foster future leadership. We will engage the audience through Q&A and topic review to share challenges and successes.
This session will cover:
- Employee Recruitment. Find and hire qualified candidates who can backfill the positions that a maturing workforce may soon leave behind. Learn how to work with high schools, community colleges and universities to build awareness of promising career paths in the AV industry.
- Effective approaches to retaining new employees to develop and train. We will discuss effective ways to engage and lead multigenerational teams, which may consist of seasoned veterans and newly hired, and a diverse workforce.
- An organizational mentoring program that will meet strategic goals for growth, leadership development and effective employee teams. Attendees will receive a complete guide to establishing an internal mentoring team, custom worksheets to document employee and organizational goal-achievement, and a quick-start guide to begin their program.
