 Austin Nelson is the Western Region A/V Manager at Daktronics, where he works closely with AV integrators and end users across the Pacific Northwest and Canada to support the design and deployment of direct-view LED solutions. Since joining Daktronics in 2016, he has built a strong foundation in large-scale display technologies through roles in the company’s on-premise business unit and regional operations.

With a focus on practical application and system performance, Nelson brings hands-on experience in delivering high-impact visual environments, including integrated entertainment and venue-based deployments. His perspective centers on how AV

managers can effectively incorporate LED technologies into complex systems to enhance user experience, reliability, and operational efficiency.
