Eric Himes serves as the Senior Director of Academic Technology Experiences at Marshall University, where he leads efforts to enhance student learning through innovative technology solutions. His role encompasses overseeing technology rollouts, classrooms, managing construction and renovation projects, training, and spearheading AI initiatives for the university.

Eric holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from Marshall University and brings 30 years of experience in the audiovisual and IT sectors. His contributions have been pivotal in advancing the educational experience through technology, including overseeing new building constructions and upgrades.
