Franziska Freking is a Senior Project Manager in the Information Technology Special Projects team at Pepperdine University. She began working in Project Management in 2021, and was recently promoted to Senior Project Manager in August 2023. 

Previous to her role in project management, Franziska got her start in Learning and Development. She became the manager of Corporate Training at Amoretti, a flavor manufacturing company, at which she worked for 6 years, then moved to Pepperdine and served as the university’s Technology Trainer for 3 years.

With the desire and skillset to lead technical projects for the university, Franziska became a project manager working closely with the Pepperdine AV team. This year will be her third year managing the Pepperdine AV Refresh Project.

Franziska graduated from California State University, Channel Islands with a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Studio Art and a minor in Communication in 2011.
