Jeffrey Levesque is a Lead Information Technologist (Crestron Master Technology Architect Silver Certified, Q-SYS Level 2 Certified, Crestron Digital Media Certified Engineer, and Dante Level 2) with the University of Rhode Island Information Technology Services where he designs, programs, installs, and repairs Audio Visual Systems in general assignment classrooms and departmental classrooms on campus. He also supports faculty and students as they use classrooms, conference rooms, and other venues. Before starting at his current job in 2014, Jeff worked in public schools as an educator which allowed him to bring a different perspective to the realm of Audio Visual design. Letting him bridge the gap between faculty users and AV designers, resulting in more user friendly AV systems. Jeff’s current focus is identifying new solutions for enhancing the teaching and learning environment. Jeff holds a BS in Physics from the University of Maine and a MS in Physics from the University of Rhode Island.
