Jodie Penrod

Dr. Jodie Penrod is the CIO for Marshall University in Huntington, WV. She holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, M.S. in Systems Engineering, and Ph.D. in Instructional Technology. Jodie is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional in Healthcare Information Management Systems (CPHIMS), ITIL-Foundation Certified, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified. Jodie's interests include AI, classroom and hybrid learning technology, process improvement, and optimizing the student experience in higher education. Jodie has written three articles in Educause Review and has presented numerous times at Educause, lnfoComm, and other professional conferences related to higher education technology.
