Joseph Chrobak
Joseph Chrobak has been a member of UNLV's Office of Information Technology for 7 years, where he is currently a Senior AV/IT Systems Specialist in the Information Technology department responsible for designing and maintaining learning space technologies to support an innovative environment for students and faculty. Joe is currently a Ph.D. student in curriculum and instruction at the UNLV College of Education, where his research focuses on interaction and media sciences around the application of GenAI to enhance teaching and learning in higher education. He is also a participant in the IT AI Co-Lab pilot, exploring and implementing impactful GenAI solutions across the university. He is an AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) and serves as an ex officio member of the UNLV Teaching and Learning Commons General Council, representing the IT department. Joseph holds two degrees from Marywood University: a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication Arts specialization in Advertising / Public Relations with a minor in Business, and a Master of Arts (MA) in Communication Arts.
