Josh Barney is the CEO of the SEAT Conference and a longtime leader in sports and entertainment technology. After spending 12 years with the Utah Jazz - including leading technology strategy during the renovation of the Delta Center and working at the General Manager of Jazz Gaming (NBA 2K League) - Josh helped revive SEAT to create a community where industry leaders can openly share ideas, solve real-world challenges, and build meaningful connections. Passionate about the power of live experiences, Josh believes technology should create belonging, elevate fan experiences, and turn venues into places where unforgettable memories are made. Alongside his wife of 28 years, Colette, he also co-founded The Joshua Tree Project, a nonprofit focused on expanding access to accessible technology and helping ensure public venues are welcoming for everyone.
