Kevin Schornhorst serves as Vice President of SLED (State, Local Government, and Education) at AVI-SPL, supporting teams across North America with best practices, standardization, pedagogy, and procurement strategies for Higher Education, K-12, and State and Local Government organizations. He also leads contract vehicle strategy to ensure AVI-SPL is positioned to support customers nationwide while driving training and information-sharing initiatives that strengthen customer outcomes and internal collaboration.

With more than 20 years of audiovisual industry experience, Kevin brings expertise spanning AV design, integration, project management, commissioning, lifecycle planning, vendor relations, budgeting, programming, support operations, video production, and state and local procurement contracts. His background includes roles as a K-12 Video Production Teacher and Auditorium Manager, Healthcare AV Specialist, and seven years as an AV Engineer at Georgia State University.
