Kristin Bidwell

Kristin is the Director, Managing Consultant at ACT Associates specializing in the areas of audiovisual and control systems, sound masking, architectural acoustics, unified communications, building technologies, standards creation, and project management. With over 16 years of audiovisual consulting experience, Kristin has contributed to various projects within the higher education, corporate, biotech, cinema, worship space, courtroom, and hospitality markets. 

Kristin is heavily involved in professional societies within the audiovisual, acoustical, and lighting industries. She serves on the AVIXA Consultant’s Council, AVIXA Women’s Council, AVIXA Audio Advisory Board, AVIXA Sustainability Task Force, Acoustical Society of America, Audio Engineering Society, Illuminating Engineering Society, Institute of Noise Control Engineering, The Women of the Channel, and is the Events Coordinator for the AIA DC Tech Committee.
