Realizing this plagued production companies across the industry, he created Soundsupply. Soundsupply serves as a one-stop-shop for repurchasing used AV equipment. By 2020, Soundsupply was the largest processor of used AV equipment in North America. Having solved for supply, Mendel moved on to the demand-side of the equation. in 2021, Mendel created Gearsupply, which is currently the largest and fastest growing marketplace for used AV equipment with over $30mm slated to be listed on Gearsupply by year end!
