Michael Berger is an accomplished audiovisual and educational technology leader with over 40 years of service at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He has led the design, deployment, and support of technology‑enhanced learning environments, including wireless presentation systems, AV over IP solutions, simulation labs, active learning classrooms, direct‑view LED installations, collaboration spaces, and large‑scale remote learning environments.

In addition, Michael brings extensive experience in broadcast television, supporting live sporting events and complex production workflows. He is widely recognized as a leader in higher education audiovisual technologies, known for aligning emerging technologies with instructional and institutional goals.
