Michael Dupaix is the Technology Manager for a leading AV production company based in San Diego, California.  With a lifelong passion for AV and computers, Michael’s journey began in his parents’ basement staging plays with pro AV gear which grew into leading roles as EIC for conferences streamed worldwide and major pop culture events attended by tens of thousands. He specializes in researching and integrating new technologies into production workflows, with a focus on the adoption and implementation of SMPTE 2110 video over IP. He is committed to expanding his knowledge, exploring new technologies, and applying them to help people tell their stories.

Michael, an AV-over-IP expert, is certified by major manufactures and professional organizations in AVoIP, networking, SMPTE 2110, Dante, digital and IP production, and many others. He applies this knowledge to upgrade and optimize systems for his employers, customers, and industry partners. He is honored to share his experience and insights with others on implementing AV over IP for Live Events.
