How to build a Network will give AV professionals an overview into the main design involved in network streaming applications. The course will introduce key aspects of a streaming network, in particular, content bandwidth requirements, matching content to a network, and security, which are key to a well-produced, professional looking stream. The session will focus on integrating with other teams such as IT professionals, broadcasters, and architects.
We will cover all aspects of the project process to include goal setting, documentation and iteration, stakeholder and needs analyses, and existing network and device inventory inspections. The scope of the project plus an introduction to program, design and construction phases, alongside potential system, infrastructure and audio-visual integration will also be examined.
We’ll also discuss aspect ratios, signal compatibility and retro compatibility requirements, cabling and transport infrastructure, device inventory, and software licensing.
