Steve Greenblatt
Steve Greenblatt, CTS, is President and Founder of Control Concepts, Inc (controlconcepts.net), the AV industry’s premier software development company and a leader in the integration of manufacturers’ products with AV control system platforms through the development of drivers, modules, plugins, middleware, and support services.
Since 1997, Steve has built a successful business by developing and empowering a solid team and maintaining lasting relationships with manufacturers, programmers, technology managers, integrators, and consultants.
As a programmer turned business owner, Steve has learned to adapt a technical mindset to business principles and develop the management, communication, and operational skills required to grow a team and lead a successful organization. Acquired skills and knowledge of personality types have significantly contributed to this success.
Steve speaks at industry events and has served on several industry councils, committees, and boards for the betterment of the audiovisual industry. Steve regularly contributes to industry publications, including a quarterly business column for SCN called On Your Business. He hosts industry podcasts, A State of Control and Ask The Programmer, focusing on control, programming, and automation.
Steve graduated from Lehigh University with a BS in Electrical Engineering, is a Strengthscape Certified DiSC Trainer, a member of the SCN Hall of Fame Class of 2020, and a Commercial Integrator #AVLivingLegends honoree.
