Yago is a proud Spaniard born and raised in Madrid who began his career in the entertainment industry touring with several high-profile rock and roll bands throughout Europe. His ambition for new experiences introduced him to Cirque du Soleil 24 years ago where his career path evolved rapidly within the Touring show Division from tent technician for Alegria, to Rigger, Head Rigger and Technical Director for Quidam. Yago’s expertise lead him to technical leadership roles within the Resident Show Division of Cirque du Soleil at “O”, ZED and KA. In 2016 Yago became Company Manager for KA, Zumanity and Kooza; later moving to General Manager for Criss Angel’s production of “Mindfreak".   He started his tenure with Resorts World Las Vegas in 2019 as the Executive Director of Entertainment to focus on the Theatre operations, nightlife venues, LED surfaces and how to remain relevant with future entertainment within Las Vegas’ ever changing entertainment landscape. Yago strives to be able to communicate with anyone, he is passionate on educating himself on any topic and is known for his ability to mold a group of individuals into a cohesive and efficient team.
